Filming in Brazil: common questions
Do I need a permit to film in Brazil?
For public locations in Rio and São Paulo, usually yes. Requirements vary by city and location, and some take one to three weeks. We handle the applications and advise on lead time.
Do you speak English?
Yes. Communication, quotes and on-set direction are handled in English.
Can you supply equipment and crew only?
Yes. Many clients hire us for crew and kit while directing themselves. We can scale from a single operator to a full unit.
How do payments work for a foreign company?
We issue an international invoice and receive by bank transfer. We confirm the exact terms in the quote before anything is booked.
What is the typical lead time?
Simple shoots can be arranged in about a week. Projects needing permits, casting or multiple locations are better with three to four weeks.
Planning a shoot in Brazil?
Tell us the dates and the scope, and we will come back with a plan and a quote. We reply in English.
